A lovely antique coffee grinder dating from the early 20th Century. It is a particularly large size, most likely used in a cafe. It is excellent quality and very well made, the body made from solid oak with dovetail joints. It has a large bowl on the top for the beans and a large handle which turns the grinder. The drawer below catches the fresh coffee.
It has been well used and developed a beautiful rich patina through years of use. It is in good solid order with no major damages. There are some small minor splits around the bottom of the bowl but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and it's large size makes it a great statement display piece.
