A superb brass tabletop dinner gong, dating from around 1900. It is excellent quality, made of heavy solid brass set on an oak base raised on four small bun feet and it comes with a large wooden beater.

It is in very good condition for its age. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays very well. There are some minor signs of age and use and some tarnishing on the brass but nothing detrimental. The beater is in good condition and most importantly it makes a very satisfying and loud 'gong'!
