A good example of a large antique brass cauldron dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is a good quality piece with a rolled rim and a cast iron swing handle. A good size for a coal/kindling bucket or planter.
It is in good original condition and displays beautifully. There are signs of age and use and it has picked up many small dinks and dents and a few small splits around the rim but there are no major damages and no holes. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
Approximate Measurements:
Height (to rim) : 12" / 30cm
Diameter : 17" / 43cm
Width including handles : 21" / 53cm
