A good example of a large antique brass cauldron dating from the late 19th Century. It is a good quality piece with a rolled rim and a cast iron swing handle. A good size for a coal/kindling bucket or planter.
It is in good original condition and displays beautifully. There are no major damages. There are signs of age and use, some small dinks and dents and minor splits in the rim but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
