Very rare and very fine Huntley & Palmers Tin in the shape of a Post Box. The tin was made in 1906 and features on the cover of their 1906 Christmas catalogue. It is a very nice example with embossed detail including ER the Royal Cypher from the Edward VII period.
It is stamped inside the lid 'Huntley & Palmers. Biscuits. Reading & London'

It is in remarkably good condition for its age with no major dents or damage and minimal paint loss. The hinges are strong and in good working order and the lid fits tightly shut.
