Product Details

A superb Georgian specimen dating from the early 19th Century. The cabinet itself is of architectural form standing on a plinth base with a panelled door and panelled sides. It has its original brown painted finish which has worn and cracked with age leaving an interesting surface.

It contains 12 pine drawers, each with a small brass ring pull handle and every drawer except 1 has a glass covering. There are various old linings inside the drawers but they are generally tidy and it is certainly a usable piece.

It is in good original condition and displays very nicely. There are plenty of signs of age and use and it has picked up a few knocks, marks and minor splits over the years but nothing untoward and it has a good aged patina. It is strong and sturdy and comes with its original working key.
