A fine example of a Georgian solid silver Snuff Box with gilt lined interior. It is an attractive curved shape to fit the palm and is good quality, weighing approximately 35g. It is clearly hallmarked for Sydenham William Peppin, Birmingham, 1813.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
