A fine example of a Georgian silver Vinaigrette with gilt lined interior and pierced gilt grille. It is an attractive small size and is decorated on the front with a diamond shaped pattern and engraved with the letter 'L'.
It is clearly hallmarked for Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham, 1798.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. The hinges are in good order and the gilt interior is bright. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
