Product Details

A fine example of a Georgian toddy ladle with a long turned wooden handle and a Sterling Silver bowl. The outer rim of the bowl is engraved "Presented to the Ward Room Officers, H.M.P Exeter, by R.P.Brown".

There are no distinguishable hallmarks, just part of a possible makers mark near the edge of the silver part of the handle. It was common for these items not to be fully marked.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some small dinks and dents around the ladle and some faint surface marks and a few light scratches but nothing untoward. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
