A lovely Georgian oak tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a rectangular planked top set on a turned baluster support and tripod splayed legs with small balls below the feet. It has a beautiful rich colour and is a lovely honest piece of country furniture.
It is in good condition for it's age and is sturdy with a good level top. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks on the top surface and some general knocks and scuffs around the base but nothing detrimental. There is a small metal disc below one foot to raise it slightly where it has worn over the years. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
