A lovely oak tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a circular planked top set on a turned baluster support with tripod splayed legs. It has a beautiful rich colour and is a lovely honest piece of country furniture.
It is in good condition for it's age and is sturdy with a good level top. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks on the top surface, a small repaired split and one small old ring mark (see photo) and some general knocks and scuffs around the base but nothing detrimental. The closing latch has been replaced at some point. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
