Product Details

A beautiful Georgian oak tilt-top breakfast table, dating from the late 18th / early 19th century. It has a planked rectangular top with rounded corners and this sits on a thick turned column with three splayed legs terminating in brass castors. It is a good size and comfortably seats four to six or works just as well as a centre table.

It is unusual to see a table like this in oak and it has a lovely patina.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are various small knocks, marks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental or untoward. The tilting mechanism works well and the table is strong and sturdy and very usable.
