A charming country oak side table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a nicely moulded edge around the top and it stands on square chamfered legs. It has a single deep drawer with pierced brass plate handle.
It is in good original condition and the oak has a lovely patina. It is strong and sturdy and the drawer opens smoothly. There are some signs of age and use, some old marks and knocks here and there and a small repair to the tip of one leg but nothing detrimental or untoward. There are some signs of historic worm in the legs which has all been treated as a precaution. The table has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
