A lovely oak side table of small proportions dating from the mid to late 18th Century. It has an over-hanging top with moulded edge set on tapering legs with pad feet. It has a single long drawer with brass plate handles and matching escutcheon.
It is in good condition for its age and the oak has a superb colour and patina. There are signs of age and use and some minor old marks and knocks but no major damages. The rear feet have had a few small repairs and there are some minor signs of historic worm which has been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically.
The table is strong and sturdy and displays beautifully. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
