A superb example of a large oak dresser base dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It stands on turned front legs with 3 large drawers, each with pierced brass plate handles.
It is in good condition throughout and is strong and sturdy. It is not without some signs of age and use and minor stains and marks on the top but this has all helped to develop a beautiful rich patina over the years. The drawers are generally clean and tidy inside and open well. There are some old repairs but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully. It has been given a thorough clean and light polish and is ready for the home.
