A good quality Georgian oak cupboard dating from the late 18th / early 19th century. The cupboard has two panelled doors with nicely cross banded borders and a dentil molded cornice. It stands on a simple plinth base and has an overhanging planked top. It has a shelved interior with two adjustable shelves. It comes with a working key.
It is in good original condition with a wonderful rich patina. There are some signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks but no major damages and overall it displays very well. There are a few historic worm holes around the base and in the back boards which have all been treated as a precaution and haven't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and given a light polish and is ready for use.
