Superb example of a country oak Cricket Table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a circular planked top set on chamfered legs joined by stretchers. It is in excellent original condition with a wonderful patina. There are many signs of use and age but no major damages and it a solid sturdy piece. The stretchers have worn on the top through frequent use and it has likely lost a little bit of height of the years where the bottom of the legs have worn away. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm in the legs and top but this hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been lightly waxed to retain its aged patina and it is ready for use.
