A superb oak chest of drawers dating from the late 18th Century. They are made of solid oak with two small over three long drawers. They are excellent quality with panelled sides set on tall bracket feet. Each drawer has small brass ring handles and brass escutcheons. They have a lovely warm patina and the most wonderful grain pattern across the drawer fronts.
They are in excellent condition for their age and are strong and sturdy. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are signs of age and use, various small knocks, marks and a few old repairs but nothing detrimental or untoward. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
