An elegant mahogany washstand dating from the early 1800s. It stands on four straight legs with a middle shelf, crossed stretchers joining the legs and a small drawer below the shelf. It is a good quality piece with a lovely rich colour.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks but no major damages and it displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
