A good Georgian mahogany snap-top wine table dating from the early 19th Century. It has a circular mahogany top on a turned support with tripod legs. It has a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with a good level top.
It is in good condition for its age. There are signs of age and use, some minor surface marks and knocks but no major damages and it displays well. There has been a small old repair to a chip on the edge of the top (see photo) and some signs of historic worm on the square support which has all been treated as a precaution and has not affected the table structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
