Product Details

A superb Georgian mahogany tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a circular mahogany top standing on a turned baluster support with tripod splayed legs and pad feet. It has a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with a good level top. The tilting mechanism is smooth with a strong catch.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few small surface marks and light knocks but nothing detrimental. There has been an old repair to a small split in the top and a couple of old repairs to the legs but it is strong and sturdy and there are no major damages. It has been gently polished and is ready for use.
