A nice Georgian mahogany tea table dating from the late 18th Century. It has good quality tapering reeded legs and a small drawer with brass plate handle. The back leg swings out and the top folds over to open out to a larger tea table but it is also very useful as a side table.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well with a nice rich colour. There has been a repair to the top of the supporting leg and there are a few old repairs around the hinges but it is strong and sturdy. The drawer handle is a later replacement and there are other minor signs of age and use, some light surface marks and stains but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
