A lovely antique mahogany side table dating from the early 19th Century. It has a beautiful rich patina and stands on elegant tapering turned legs with its original brass castors. It has a single long drawer with its original turned knobs and a planked top. Perfect as a side table or a small writing desk.
It is in very good condition for its age. The drawer opens well and is generally clean and tidy inside. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light knocks and minor old marks and stains on the top surface but nothing detrimental. There has been a small repair on the front of the drawer and there are some minor shrinkage splits between the planks on the top but it is strong and sturdy and overall it displays very well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
