A lovely small mahogany table on elegant tapering turned legs, dating from the early 19th century. It has an arrangement of three drawers, each with the original brass ring pull handle and a raised shaped mahogany gallery running around the sides and back of the table. It's a very versatile table as it has ample leg clearance (24") to sit at - perfect for a small writing desk or dressing table or excellent as a hall or side table.
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy. It has been well used and has developed a charming worn patina with signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There is a small old repaired split across the front but it doesn't detract from the table. It displays beautifully and has been cleaned and lightly waxed and is ready for use.
