A good example of a Georgian mahogany tea table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on tapering ring turned legs with pretty stringing around the apron. Both rear legs swing out to support the hinged fold-over top.
It is in excellent condition for its age and displays well with a nice rich colour. The interior of the table is flat and has a nice grain. There are some signs of age and use, some light surface marks and knocks and a few old marks to the interior but nothing untoward or detrimental. The table is strong and sturdy and it has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
