Product Details

A charming small tabletop press dating from the early 19th Century. It was most likely made to press flowers. It is made from mahogany with a single drawer with a brass handle. The press has a wooden winding handle and large wooden screw.

It is in good condition throughout and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but no major damages and it displays well. The screw mechanism is in good order and I'm sure the piece could still be used. It has been given a clean and a wax and is ready for use or display.
