A lovely mahogany corner washstand dating from the early 1800s. It has two shelves with a raised gallery and the legs are joined by crossed stretchers. There is a small drawer below the second shelf flanked by two dummy drawers, each with brass knobs.
It is a good quality piece with a lovely rich colour and it is in good condition for its age. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
