A good Georgian mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. The drawers have brass swan neck handles and the chest stands on bracket feet. It has mahogany drawer fronts and a mahogany top with pine sides. It is a good quality piece, well made and the colour and patina of the mahogany is wonderful.
It is in good original condition. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks on the top, a small split and a few knocks around the feet but nothing untoward or detrimental. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all open smoothly. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
