A lovely Georgian mahogany chest of drawers of large proportions dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. The drawers have their original brass swan neck handles and the chest stands on short bracket feet.
It is a good quality piece, very well made and in good original condition with a rich patina. There are some small old chips around the drawers and some minor knocks and marks here and there and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside, having been lined in paper at some point. The back is sturdy and it is a good solid chest of drawers that display well.
