A lovely mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. They have good large proportions offering plenty of storage with two short over three long drawers. Each drawer has brass plate handles and they stand on bracket feet. They are excellent quality with solid drawer fronts, hand cut dovetail joints and oak lined drawers.
They are in very good condition for its age and are strong and sturdy. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are of course some signs of age and use, some minor old marks and knocks, small shrinkage splits and a small repair on one side but nothing untoward or detrimental and overall it displays well.
