A beautiful Georgian mahogany chest of drawers of large proportions dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. The drawers have their original brass swan neck handles and the chest stands on bracket feet. It is excellent quality and very well made with oak lined drawers.
It is in good original condition with a rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some minor knocks to the cock beading, some old repairs to chips on the top and an old repair to the bottom of the front of one drawer (see photos) but nothing untoward or detrimental. The drawers are clean and tidy inside and all open well, having had the runners recently repaired or replaced. The back is sturdy and it is a good solid chest of drawers that display beautifully.
