A beautiful Georgian mahogany chest of drawers of large proportions dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. The drawers have their original brass swan neck handles and the chest stands on bracket feet.
It is excellent quality, very well made and in good original condition with a rich patina. There are some old repairs to chips on the sides, some minor knocks to the cock-beading, and general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. The drawers are clean and tidy inside and all open well, having had the runners recently repaired or replaced. The back is sturdy and it is a good solid chest of drawers that display beautifully.
