A lovely antique mahogany card tray with a Chippendale style wavy rim. It likely dates from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It is well made and the wood has a lovely rich colour.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some minor signs of age and use and a small chip on the rim (see photo) but no major damages. It has been cleaned and gently polished and displays well.
