A lovely mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. They are a good large size with four long drawers and an attractive bow front. The drawers have brass ring pull handles and the chest stands on small ogee bracket feet. They are excellent quality with rich timbers and a boxwood strung edge.
They are in good condition for their age with a lovely colour and patina. The oak lined drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual signs of age and use, some minor old marks and knocks, some old stains on the top surface and a few minor repairs but nothing untoward and they display well. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
