A good quality copper pitcher dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a round foot and attractive bulbous body with a copper handle and a blacksmith made swing-handle. It has a pouring spout and its original copper lid attached to the handle by chain. It is stamped "200" and "5601".

It is in good original condition and displays well. There are no major damages, splits or holes. There are signs of age and use, some small dents, dinks and surface marks but nothing untoward. It has been lightly cleaned and polished to retain its wonderful patina and is ready for use.
