A lovely example of a Georgian patch box dating from the late 18th Century. The bottom half is a deep blue enamel and the lid is wonderfully decorated with a repeating floral pattern in almost a millefiori style. The interior is white and there is a mirror under the lid.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages to the exterior and the decoration is all in good condition. There is some internal crazing and a crack across the mirror but otherwise it displays beautifully.
