Product Details

A fine example of a small solid silver salver dish with Chippendale style wavy rim and shell motifs set on 3 hooved feet. The centre is engraved with scrolling floral designs which has likely been done later. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 254g.

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1753. The makers mark is partly rubbed but it could likely be William Grundy.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks and light surface scratches and some small dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
