A good example of an original GWR Railway signalling lamp dating from the early to mid 20th Century. It has two brass plaques stamped GWR and 25370. It is complete with its original oil burner and reflector, although the wick part of the burner is missing. It also has its original triple aspect filter with red glass and blue glass.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. The glass turns smoothly and the front door opens well. There are some signs of age and use, some wear to the paint in places and some surface knocks and light scratches but nothing detrimental or untoward.
