A large and very decorative white ironstone cream pail dating from the early 20th Century. It has two shaped handles and "CREAM" in large black letters.
The base is stamped "Dairy Supply Co. Limited Museums. London".
It is in good condition for its age although it has suffered a few damages over the years. There is a small chip on one handle and another underneath the rim. Internally there is some crazing and a star shaped hairline on the side (see photo) but overall it displays well.
