A good example of an antique silver tea caddy with its original lid. It is a simple round shape with an elegant twisted border and the interior of the lid is gilded. It is good quality, weighing approximately 150g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1906 and the maker T.H.Hazelwood & Co.
It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are a few light surface marks and some minor signs of age and use but no major dents or damages and it is certainly a very usable piece.
