A good example of a large solid silver tray with all over ornate repousse design featuring flowers and leaves around a central cartouche. It has rounded corners and a lip all around for carrying. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 255g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1904 and the maker W.H.Leather.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks here and there and when held up to the light there are a few very small pin prick holes where the silver has worn over time but there are no major damages and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
