A lovely example of a mahogany music cabinet dating from the early 20th century. It has 6 drawers, each with a fall front and brass art nouveau style handles. There is a shelf below the drawers and the whole piece stands on small castors. It is well made and a good quality piece with a nice colour.
It is in good condition for its age and is a very usable piece. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy. It is not without some minor signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and a small amount of sun bleaching but nothing detrimental or untoward. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
