A lovely example of a folding backgammon set dating from the early 20th century. The box is made of a good quality mahogany and it has a black and gilt painted interior forming the board. It comes with 30 original turned counters and 3 small dice.
The set is in good condition for its age. The box is showing some signs of age and use and there are a few minor knocks and marks but nothing detrimental. The interior of the board itself is slightly worn but has a lovely aged patina and is certainly very usable.
