A lovely small oak Settle dating from the early 18th Century. It is a lovely quality piece with a wonderful patina. It has a panelled back with beautifully shaped arms and a panelled base standing on block feet. The seat itself has a traditional strung base and it comes with a well made fitted cushion with zip cover.
The settle is in good condition and displays well. There are of course signs of age and use and small knocks and marks but no major damages or anything detrimental. The cover is generally clean and tidy with a few minor marks. There have been some historic repairs and restorations and some signs of old worm which have been treated as a precaution but the whole piece is strong and sturdy and ready for use.
