Product Details

Beautiful Tea Service designed and made by David Leach in the late 20th Century. The set comprises of a teapot with faceted spout and original looping cane handle, six tea bowls and a milk jug. It is finished in a pale green celadon glaze over delicate fluting. Every piece is impressed with David Leach's personal 'DL' seal.

Approximate Measurements :
Tea Pot : 9" (23cm) high including the cane handle, 5 1/2" (14cm) without the handle and 7" (18cm) wide including the spout
Milk Jug : 5" (13cm) wide, 3 1/2" (9cm) high
Tea Bowls : 3 1/2" (9cm) tall and 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter
It is in excellent condition and not only displays very nicely but is a functional object. There is no damage to any of the pieces apart from one tea bowl which has sadly suffered some quite major damage which I have closely photographed. It has been badly cracked and glued back together and has a further hairline crack on the outside. I decided to keep it with the set because it has been repaired very well and doesn't detract from how it displays but best to look at the photos for the most accurate information. Even with this one damaged piece it is still a stunning set and of course the price reflects the damage.
