Good example of an early original 'Bizarre' design by Clarice Cliff beautifully hand painted on an unusual shaped vase. It displays very well and is unmistakably Clarice Cliff. The pattern is a distinctive bold geometric design of triangles in bold oranges, blues and yellows.
The vase is stamped underneath "Hand Painted. Bizarre by Clarice Cliff. Newport Pottery. England".

It is in good condition for its age and the colours have remained bright and vibrant with only minor rubbing and small losses. There is a chip on the bottom of the foot which can just be seen by a very small chip when the vase is displayed (see photos) but otherwise no damages or restoration. There are some light surface marks commensurate with age but nothing detrimental and overall it displays very nicely.
