A large brass dinner gong dating from the early 20th century. It is excellent quality with a square brass frame, square feet and a scrolling decorative handle on the top. The gong itself is also brass and is stamped "Burmese". It comes with a large wooden beater.

It is in very good condition for its age. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays very well. There are some minor signs of age and use and some tarnishing on the brass but nothing detrimental. The beater is in good condition and although there is an old bound repair it is strong and most importantly makes a very satisfying and loud 'gong'!
