A good quality Bronze group dating from the early 20th Century, depicting a pair of traditionally dressed Cavalier soldiers playing a game with dice on the skin of their drum. They are very expressive and it is an interesting and lively scene. The figure has been mounted on an ebonised wooden base.
Very good condition with a beautiful patina, no missing parts, very realistic details, high quality casting and chasing.
