A lovely brass corinthian column standard lamp dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a good quality piece with a stepped base and lions paw feet.
It was possibly once an oil lamp which has been converted to electric at some point. It has now been rewired to modern standards to take a bayonet bulb and it is in working order with a valid PAT Test.
It is in good condition and has been cleaned and lightly polished. There are a few minor signs of age and use, some light marks and dinks but nothing detrimental.
