Stunning figure of an Arab man on a carpet selling wares, exceptionally well made and incredibly detailed. It bears the all important Bergman 'B' seal and is also stamped 'Austria'. The detail is just exceptional and needs to be seen to be appreciated. He has been delicately hand painted and the form and shape in the carpet is incredible. He is wearing a turban and holding a statue in an outstretched hand. Next to him is a small table with further statues on it and around it.
It is in excellent condition with no specific damages that I can see and it displays beautifully.
The carpet measures approximately 7 1/2" long by 4 1/2" wide and the man is approximately 3" tall. He weighs 700g.
